Tony Allan Memorial Fund
The Tony Allan Memorial Fund was established to support charities and causes that were
close to Tony’s heart. It is a fitting tribute to a person with a great and generous personality for whom nothing is too much if he could help.
This fund will assist Cancer Research and the Marie Curie Hospices and also money will be set aside to benefit Radio Caroline – especially the radio ship – and the Redsand Fort restoration project, both poweful symbols of free radio and free spirit!!
Each charity will receive a share of the money, equally divided.
If anyone feels they want to help out by doing a fundraiser please do not hesitate to get in touch.
A good friend of Tony, Graham Coull, ran the London Marathon in 2006 to raise money for the fund and managed to raise 1100 pounds in total.
Or if individuals have any suggestions towards these funds I would love to hear from them. I would be nice to get more people involved.
Thanks Elija van den Berg
