Since it started, in 2002, jacobsladder.org.uk has been working to get a better deal for the thousands of struggling musicians, singers and songwriters who cannot get onto the first rung of the ladder to success. Even today, where we have a plethora of radio & television channels, it is unlikely that unsigned music will be heard during the daytime and certainly not as regularly as music signed to record companies.
